Training Rides are in full force!

Riding the trainer always seems like a chore for me. I guess I can relate it to emptying garbage cans or picking up dog poo. I really don't enjoy it. However, somehow I get myself to sit on my bike and spin. Thankfully, our team trainer rides have surprised me. I find myself having a love/hate relationship with them. Sure, those nagging thoughts go through my head every Monday and Thursday " I don't want to go!!! I hate riding the trainer!!" But somehow I find myself there (when life allows) and I'm always happy I went. "Thanks be to Robert!", there have been roughly 10-12 teammies meeting at Big Sky Bikes on Mondays and Thursdays. Sessions are lasting roughly 90 minutes and I know will have us well prepared for our up and coming race season. I encourage everyone to try and make one session per week. The weeks seem to be on fast forward and we will soon find ourselves in Walla Walla before we know it! Incentives: music and workouts. The music varies each night and can vary from Nick's reggae to Ivy's contemporary hip/hop (is that what you call Kayne??) to Tamara's 80's favorites! Both Elliot and Dusty have contributed to the grueling work outs and leave us all dripping with sweat, not sure if we can handle more! So, I'm a believer! Trainer rides can be fun - all you have to do is show up at Big Sky Bikes at 6:30 on Monday's and Thursdays to get the best of them! Hope to see you there!!!! ----------Joey
